Install AnyDesk using GUI Now go to the /Download folder and right-click on downloaded file then Open With Software Install according to the image below After above steps when Ubuntu application opens, click the Install button for install AnyDesk.

# sudo apt install ./anydesk_2.9.6-1_amd64.deb
Step.2 Starting anydesk service if it’s not running.# anydesk --service Start the AnyDesk service, if not already running (for Linux).

Edit this file /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
[daemon] # Enabling automatic login
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=$USERNAME
Note: replace $USERNAME with actual username incase of multi-user
Step.7 Remove anydesk application, use below commandsudo apt-get --purge remove anydesk
